COMMISSIONING OF LAFARGE WAPCO`S 90 MEGA WATTS POWER PLANT AND TOUR OF 2.5 METRIC TONNES CEMENT PLANT..



Today June 30 2011,the management of Lafarge cement commissioned their 90 mega watt power plant and they also toured the 2.5 metric tones cement plant situated in Ewekoro Ogun State Nigeria. Above is the 2.5 metric tones plant.

LECTURE ON TAX OPTIONS AND WAYS OF CURBING TAX EVASION AND AVOIDANCE IN LAGOS STATE.

Today June 28,2011,the Lagos state polytechnic Alumni association held their second quaterly lecture titled Tax options and ways of curbing tax evasion and avoidance in Lagos state.The event took place at Rennainsance hotel Agidingbi Ikeja Lagos Nigeria.Picture above shows one of the guest speakers,Mr.A.R.Ipaye former special adviser on tax, Lagos state delivering his lecture.

TRANING ON CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

John Tschohl president of quality service institute, a global leader in customer service and the author of a book called achieving excellence through customer care,in collaboration with Howes consulting Limited,held a training workshop today June 28,2011 at Raddisson Blu hotel,Ozumba Mbadiwe drive Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria. The title of the training program was Customer Relationship Management.The purpose of the training was to equip customer relationship personnels of organisations on how to manage their customers in a caring way that such customer will always want to come back. A CRY FOR HELP.

Pastor of Liberty chapel Kirikiri Maximum prison Apapa Lagos Nigeria,pastor Henry Orishie who has spent over ten years in prison, today June 21,2011 moved so many hearts that visited the prison with his speech.Yes we are guilty he agreed but we need forgiiveness.For people like us Christ came.Give us a second chance and we will prove Christ in us.In tears,he hugged Bishop Kayode Williams in glasses who was once like him but today is not just a free man,but is general in God`s army.

CWI`S PRISON VISIT.

As part of its activities to mark it`s first anniversary,the christian welfare initiative visted the Kirikiri maximum prison in Apapa Lagos Nigeria with food items,toiletries and other items.Picture above shows Archbishop Magnus Atilade,the president of the initiative,centre of the picture,touching one of the items presented to the inmates.


Pastor Henry Orishie,an immate and the pastor of Liberty Chapel in Kirikiri prison who has spent over ten years in the prison pleaded with the president of the initiative Archbishop Magnus Atilade to please appeal to the government on behalf of the inmates so that freedom can be granted to them.We are not going back to our vomits if liberty is granted us he promised.The pastor who was in tears said if God marks iniquities,who can stand.We have learnt our lessons a hard way and we have changed and we earnestly plead to be given another chance,

Hundreds of inmates gave their lives to Christ today June 21,2011 at the prison service conducted by the president of CWI,Magnus Atilade.Praying for them is the vice president of christian welfare initiative,professor Chris Awodipe.

CHRISTIAN WELFARE INITIATIVE CONFERENCE

The Christian welfare initiative which was established about a year ago,held its national conference at 36 Palm Avenue street,Mushin Lagos Nigeria ,Today June 20 2011.The President of the initiative Archbishop Magnus Atilade at the conference expressed his dissatisfaction in the recent bombings in the country.At the conference,he suggested Bishop Kayode Williams the national  co-ordinator of the initiative to the federal government of Nigeria as one of the capable people this administration needs to put in charge of the security of this country because of his past criminal record before christ arrested him.With people like Kayode Williams,Boko Haram will cease to exist in this country the president said. A frustrated welder at Ikeja lagos Nigeria.The cause of his frustration is obvious.The constant power failure in Nigeria that has crippled the economy,turned artisans into commercial motorcyclists and has left millions of Nigerians jobless is responsible for the welder`s frustration.Will this young man overcome the frustrations Power Holding Company Of Nigeria is putting Nigerians through or will he surrender and become a motorcycist?

BRT`S BOOMING BUSINESS.

This is Ojota bus stop situated in Lagos,south west Nigeria.The people in blue T.shirts are ticketers who sell Bus Rapid Transport(BRT) tickets,while the people in front of them are passengers struggling to purchase their tickets.BRT was introduced in lagos in March 2008 by Lagos state government headed by Babatunde Fashola governor of lagos state.BRT has since been the toast of many Lagosians because it is fast and comfortable compared to other commercial buses in the state.This has then brought boom to their business that people have to struggle to buy tickets.The tickets sells forBRT N70 and N120 respectively,depending on the distance.

THE COMMEMORATION OF THE ANNULMENT OF JUNE 12 1993 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WON BY LATE MOSHOOD ABIOLA.


The commemoration of the annulment of the June 12 1993 election won by late chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola was held today June 12,2011 at Excellence hotel Ogba Lagos Nigeria. Addressing the audience is the chairman of the occassion, Ayo Adebanjo.First to his right is the leader of Odua Peoples Congress Otunba Gani Adams.And next to Adams is Ambassador Segun Olusola.This year marks the eighteenth year of the annulment of June 12 1993 election which political experts described as the best ever in the history of Nigeria.Tomorrow in Nigeria has been declared a public holiday to mark democracy day.
