ABILITY IN CHALLENGES

Even though he did not make the top twelve not to talk of winning this year`s Nigerian Idol TV Music Reality Show competition which has just ended and was won by Mercy Chinwo, Sylva Isaiah still remains one of the greatest discoveries of this year`s Idol competiton. Born into a polygamous family of ten children of which seven died, Sylva whose stage name is Sil Kelly is one of the three children left of the ten and unfortunately, at seven he became crippled and confined to the wheel chair. Despite this challenge, Sil has refused his talent to be killed. He enrolled to participate in 2011/2012 Nigerian Idol season 2 where he`s was one of the top thirty and even though he didn`t win the competition, his talent was showcased and now his album titled NOBODY which he wrote will be in the market in the next two months. Sil his doing the track NOBODY with this year`s top three Idol contestants namely Mercy Chinwo, Joseph Anthony Ekpo aka Joe Blue and the loverboy himself Stephen Onochie. Sil said that he`s grateful to etisalat Nigeria and Peter Bode the producer and director of Nigerian Idol for helping him realise his dream of recording his album titled NOBODY. The title NOBODY came from his personal experience. According to him, in his travail in life NOBODY was there for him and that was where the title of the album came from. Sil Kelly hopes to set up a foundation to help those who are challenged if his dream of becoming a successful musician is achieved. Photo above is Sylva Isaiah from Bayelsa state in Nigeria.
